We put this system on the air on March 6, 1999. This repeater is a top notch, solid, expensive, commercial gear. Due to the relatively RF free environment we can expect outstanding performance.
  • Coverage is pretty good in most of Orange County and great in Huntington Beach. Handhelds work great around town and in the EOC.

This repeater was purchased by and is owned by Huntington Beach RACES. It is for use by the RACES group and W6BRP members only. We installed it in January of 2001. It replaces the old RCA radio which was becoming unreliable.
