I went down to the Fashion Island (Newport Beach, CA) to check out the happenings, if any, around the iPhone today, June 27. Nothing was going on and the store employees said they all they knew was that it goes on sale at 6pm on the 29th. They all had on June 29 T-shirts. Of course I had to snap a picture of the big iPhone in the display window.
